The base engine is a 2.0L EcoBoost with 250 horsepower, and eight-speed automatic transmission, and 280 pound-feet of torque. The ST trim comes standard with a 2.7L EcoBoost v6 with 335 horsepower and available seven-speed transmission.
The 2023 Ford Edge can tow up to 1,500 pounds on both engines and its payload capacity is 1,500 pounds. The Trailer Tow Package, increases the towing capacity to 3,500 pounds, which is standard on ST trim and available on lower trims.
